 James R. Kennamer has lived on Signal Mountain for over ten years with his wife and children. He has actively practiced law for approximately thirteen years. He received his BS from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa in 1989. He attended law school at the Cumberland School of Law of Samford University and received his JD degree in 1992. He is licensed to practice law in the states of Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia and currently maintains cases in active practice in all three states. He is also admitted to practice law in the Federal District Courts of the Eastern District of Tennessee, Middle District of Alabama and Northern District of Alabama, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He obtained a Master of Laws in Taxation (LLM) in 1993 from Emory University. Mr. Kennamer handles a wide range of litigation including automobile and trucking accidents, workers’ compensation, products liability, commercial and business torts, consumer protection claims, class action, Social Security claims, and other areas he finds of interest.
